Can I change my rw find for this year with a late arrival found at Rayleigh 15b with grey wheels and 10mm spare as Nick's code 3 for just £5

Very nice find Reg. It's no problem changing your best find, the rules allow it on the condition that you send your previous best find to me

Sounds just the ticket for those poor unwanted souls.. plenty of fresh air, and nice cross-country terrain to keep them healthy and fit (exercise is the key).. these 'retirees' never had it so good! However, the camp's perimeter will have to be patrolled by 'robo-corgis' to keep the HTF poachers at bay!

I will volunteer to be a live Robo- Guard in order to provide intense security as needed over there. I can then arrange trips across the pond to visit the scenic Adirondack Mountains near us for the relaxation of these HTF 'OLD' Models. Free unlimited vacation room and board is available here in the kwakers cave....LOL

The first half of 2013 was rather good to my collection shelves. I guess my selection for Category 1 (vintage Lesney) would be my new black door, crimson base 23C Bluebird Daulphine Caravan/Trailer:

My Category 2 (everything else) selection would be my bus from the Albuquerque Gathering this past July.

Very Rare Trailer there Greg, well done on that one. The Bus model is also a Great Model for the memories you will associate with it for many years to come. So colorful and bright, it would be the highlight of any shelf in a collection.
That Trailer of yours is a very special variation for me. That one brings back thoughts of Good Friends New at the time, and a bit older now, and even some like my Dad who are no longer able to enjoy our hobby and have passed. Many pictures are conjured up as we look over some of the special pieces like these in our collections. Thanks to all who have found some beauties this year and shared them with all of us on the Forum.
I got very lucky today on E Bay with Nick's Rare green 23C Trailer he showed earlier on this thread. I don't have to worry about a picture of it, he and I can now share it as our 'Best Find in 2013'. I can now call that model my best for 2013 because I know I now have to keep my hands in my pockets (Auction Talk, not fiddling, LOL) for the next two days of 2013!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D kwakers
