Sorry Guys for not making the NEC Birmingham, will try for the next one on February 8th, 2015. The next one in line for me is Kempton Park on Sunday 4th January, 2015. I will pencil this one in my diary, so fingers crossed for that event.

Falkirk swap meet tomorrow.

Nick Jones is going so it will be great to meet up with him for a chat. With any luck there will be something for both of us to spend our fun vouchers on. :D

Had a good day at Falkirk for a change. Sadly there was no sign of Nick? Maybe he was wearing his cloke of invisibility??

British members of the forum might be interested in seeing James May's (of top gear fame) Toy Stories "Action Man at the speed of sound" where James and his crew propel Action Man in a rocket hoping to break the speed of sound, The episode features footage from Britain's premier toyfair at the NEC Birmingham.
This might also be available on youtube but I have not looked.

I saw that episode on the BBC and thought it must have been filmed during 2013 or early 2014, because he was not in attendance when the 'VBD Forum' posse was there...!

Of all the Antique based shows on British TV, I am dissapointed none of them feature toy fairs and surely with the crew filming James May at the NEC, that would be enough to prompt someone to get the BBC's Arse into gear and do a series of toy fair based shows, PLEASE!
