Another great selection of 'LONE-STAR' models Reg, you really are putting together a big collection of these, maybe a group-shot can be posted in the 'Other British made diecasts' section!

The Chrysler you mention is one of a few models that had the tooling modified to stop the bonnet opening. The lovely Blue colour was it's new colour for the 1975-76 season. The version just before this lighter Blue was a dark metallic Blue, with the light stripes running over the car and it had the metal insert 'Flyer' wheels.

I think the tooling change was for a sub-range of models to be cheaper for exporting to Japan via 'MODERN TOYS' and the models often had a roof rack carrying a boat or something.

The tooling change happens during the period of the 'Flyer' wheels changing from the Metal-insert type to 'Ro-Style' type, 1975-76.

I think the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Fiat saloon were treated the same way, you might want to check to be certain though, I have taken this of the top of my head.

Saw 2 today but passed on them too much with no paint and repo bonnets.... Now where could there be a displayable one ;)
