Hi Johnboy. The reinforced area could be removed but the grind marks would be noticeable under magnification. The green Morris with the smooth underside could also be repainted. Repaints are usually discernable with the model in hand (UV etc.). It's hard to recreate the color and the chemical composition of 75 year old pigment. I've attached a closeup of the raised "defect" on the corner of the bumper which I believe is being discussed. We'll let Numi weigh in! Cheers, Macdonald

Hi all !

Here is a (quite poor) #57 Chevrolet Impala with powder blue base.
Imho a good filler for this scarce base colour.

Hi here!

Here´s a nice F-Box Iso Grifo, with a nice looking "Switch a track" set.
Imho at a good price, but for me too expensive with shipping and custom duty from USA to Germany.

So, who´s first?

Yes, agreed, shipping too high and almost certain to attract import tax and handling charges which when added to shipping costs would put total price at 350-400 dollars, nice though.

This appears to be a first casting 12a for a sensible price (esp. with free shipping within the US).

Well, that sold within 90 minutes of the above post!
Did it go to an (active) Member? If so, is it, in fact, a first casting 12a?
