[quote="toysnz"]Jumping in late as I haven't been on VBD for quite sometime due to family and wife's health issues.
Thought you might like to see the Corgi Cubs Counter Display I picked up several years ago.... I also have a lot more Cubs in storage.

They are four hot foiled designs of Whizzwheels you show but the Whizzwheels theme was not carried over into the cubs range as far as I know, its just a convieniant use of the wheels for these toys.
The wheel at bottom left is based on a real Rostyle design seen on many British cars through the 1960's and 70's, the other designs are prurely fictional and open to personal intepretation.

Many thanks for your help, i can now start on a list of models in my collection as it grows.
I also have two models with white wheels which i think were used on the Muppet models...
I will post more photo's at a later date.

That would be correct. The overrun of the Muppets white wheels were used up on the Cubs. I have seen them mostly on the MG-TD.

They're some of the better-looking Whizzwheels...due to them being based on a design used on 1:1 cars. Thanks for continuing to expand my knowledge!

I assume that 4-point cross is at top left in Bod's picture...

The red car is almost an Opel Commodore estate.
