Many years ago at Sandown Toyfair I came across an old chap who had trays of unboxed near mint to mint late Regs wheels and Transitional Superfast, all were just a few Pounds each and interestingly enough duplicates all had consecutive handwritten labels like the one shown on the Rolls.Idris wrote:Would the factory have gone to the effort of writing '24-A-1"? The cream 'Superfast' #24 surely is a colour trial as opposed to a preproduction. The body does not have the waistline trim-strip which the first 'Superfast' versions did have, plus the door handles are not as close to the shut-lines as on the earlier 'RW' bodies.
