I just started collecting pre 70's tin toys. Like regular wheels I like pre 70's :ugeek:

Recently managed to get my Father's Lionel Train set from the late 1940's! I have been trying to talk him out of it for literally 40 years! I sense another hobby looming in that area. I collect and tinker with old electric fans, or anything else old that strikes my fancy. I am also an avid hunter and fisherman. I have owned and restored quite a few classic cars over the years, but I believe I will just admire other people's from now on! Too many irons in the fire! Aside from Lesney's, I collect Impy, Budgie, Husky/Corgi Jr., and have quite a few of the Matchbox Collectibles, including every Fire Truck issued. I don't know how I have time to work! :D

I have another interest but as i run a business making display cases i do not have the
time to pursue at the moment i liked building models of 1/24th scale trucks.

I had a Volvo F12 from Italeri, fantastic kit but it never got finished because it was among all the models I had stolen. Father built the AMT trucks and had several until it became obvious they were really too big to put on display. In the end some were given to friend but a large number were scrapped by the council when we moved out of the premesis and left them there... :(

That's also the problem the size i have a further 5 tractor units 3 truck and traiers plus my
favorites which are the low loaders with loads of which i have 2 if i can find the time will
post more pics.

Oh yes, Dump digging for old bottles, pottery and anything else interesting that might be found in a Victorian rubbish dump. And collecting Brook Bond Tea picture cards.

Since I started down sizing I appear to be a collector of empty banana boxes,oh plus people are jealous of my vast collction of-Heart tablets,beta blockers,pain killers,nasal sprays,statins,and inhalers other wise fit as a fiddle......Oh hang on Polygrip and Preperation H.Must remember not to get them mixed up again.... :lol:
