Early Lesney
This is an area I'm just beginning to get into. The cost means it takes a lot of looking (and disappointment) to acquire these models.
The tractor was a recent addition and I'd finally had enough with being outbid so went for it.

I remember using the bait press as a boy - sitting on the river bank making cubes of bread.

Man alive, that is a superb King Size collection! My King Size collection consists of only a K1A and a K2A, both very playworn, at present time...I have some catching up to do!

Thanks, the best bit is that they sit in boxes, on shelves and I rarely get them out unless prompted by a variation post/thread/comment.
Rekindled my enthusiasm for models and great to showcase them and share with others.
Looking forward to getting out the 1-75 Series and thinking about how to present them.
Perhaps by box type as that is how I have them stored in my filing cabinets.
It was great when I began collecting and having them on the wall - every week would see new shelving going up!
Eventually ran out of wall space.
Bit of a bugger when I came to redecorate, removed the old wallpaper and saw the holes in the wall.
Still I did learn how to plaster a wall.
My wife keeps encouraging me to get some glass display cabinets and every time we go to the mall and I see shop renovations going on I'm in there asking what they did with their old displays. She gets her hopes up when I disappear into jewellers - then realises it's not for diamonds. No luck so far but will keep trying.
