Hi MM,
Remember the 1966 Ford Cortina Mk1-Gt???? (i dont) Well u are much more original,have a more personable character with tenacity,charm & flair and more tenable than most.... :D

Thanks Numi, funnily enough I remember a neighbour of my mum and dads back in 71 or 72 had a Mk1 Cortina in red and my dad had a Mk2 in blue, it had vinyl seats that got so hot in the summer you couldn't sit on it, mum always had to put a jaggy tartan travel blanket on the seat before me and my brother and 2 sisters could sit down. Great memories :)

Mk1 lotus cortina has to be my 1:1 holy grail car the noise from those twin side draft Webber carbs is unbeatable....... Why didn't Lesney make one .....
