There's no crosshatching on the base. There is an 'A'.

The "Matchbox Military" range only included two models...the DAF and the Tanker. I read somewhere that they were sort of a Test Market for Superkings size Military models, before Battle Kings were introduced.

Picked up a nice K13/20 yesterday with white springs. I think I have most (if not all) variations now.

Well, I keep picking the odd one or two up.
Picked up the red base / white springs at the weekend for £1.
The yellow base / white springs cost me £2 a few months back.
All four cost me less than a tenner so worth keeping your eyes sharp.
I must have all the coloured spring variations now
