That sad.
Thanks Tinman

I'm sure he has saved photos of all his work in photobucket or on his hard drive.

Yes, on the subject of prices, the rarities that are in the plastic snap-tight cases do have high numbers. The seller has long had a great inventory. There are boxes for these that the seller pulls out when asked. However, if this is truly the time to move models, the prices need to be adjusted to reflect what buyer and seller can agree on. I did notice the 50A Commer Pick Up in Red and Cream for $550 which would be a good price, but I think I've seen that one offered at past shows and it has some wear on it. I don't have a good sense of transitional Superfast values except for some of the obvious colors adapted from the 1-75 Series, but the RW's don't seem to be in line with the current market. Anyway, sorry that I couldn't make it to NM this year.

I haven't seen tables that well-stocked since the Windsor swapmeets of the early '80s!

Thank's Kay for the picture report, would love to look through all those models on display or in trays and I think I would have enjoyed the presentation show by the 'Matchbox Team', do we know what the presentation was about, R & D, History, Modern Matchbox or other stuff based around Modern Matchbox production.

I watched a couple of the presentations through some internet thingamijiggy and they were being asked a lot of questions regarding why their current line up of models features so many 4 x 4 utility vehicles. There seemed to be some level of protestation coming from the gathered crowd that they should regain their focus on the traditional Matchbox model list. I am not sure if it fell on deaf ears!!!

P.S. Thanks to Jim G., his helping staff and the Matchbox team for putting on another great show!
Kay, Thank you for posting some excellent photos that really give some flavor to the Gathering!! I think it is safe to say that a GREAT time was had by all that attended and the days went by WAY too fast. Oh well, only 11 more months until the next one.....................!
