Sounds like we're starting to get a "quorum" and increasing interest from those across the pond and other countries ..........! Nick will need to check his calendar and start to put some possible dates out there --- of course when the weather is nice in the U.K. :D :) :P

Yes of course, the weather will be the deciding factor. The famous saying..."Weather stops play"...applies to virtually everything we do here in the UK, except one, Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink, say no more...

Hi all.
Well I have had a brief chat over the phone with the publisher, At the moment there is no official launch date but they are willing to help out if we decide to hold one. But at the moment the book is due to be published in the spring of 2017 although Amazon are still selling it with the release date of October this year, Assuming that it is released in the spring of 2017 then I would suggest we do it at either the NEC or at the Sandown show. I would prefer Sandown as the NEC a long drive and a very early start for me, I guess I should ask the promotors of the events about the cost of a table and we'll see where it goes from here.

NEC would be my preferred location. Please give some thought to those of us who dont live in the South of England!

Perhaps we can get the publisher to arrange for Nick to be picked up from his house and taken upto the NEC in a nice big luxury car, a Rolls or a Jag or something. Now if we could lay our hands on a nice big car like that, I wouldn't mind doing the driving, having driven for Two hire car companies in previous jobs.

Well volunteered Ghosty. Nick will be delighted.

Oh of course, I've got a big Rolls, it's sitting on my drive...better start saving my pennies for a gallon of Petrol for the journey then.
By the way Nick, there is a donation box in the back of my Rolls, so if you don't mind, when you're sitting comfortably....
