I agree with you on the Studey, it is one of the models in the range that does look good, not applicable to all the models. The Ferrari Dino for instance, just does not look right to me, I don't know what real car reference material they consulted, (they would try and find a real car for any of the models they were intending to make) but it has not worked for the Ferrari.
The Studebaker is welcomed by many U.S. models collectors, as so few seem to have been made in relation to exotic sports cars and European cars and the colour suits it, (Gold for a Golden Hawk!).

Hi Ghosty, I don't think the Studey was a particularly flamboyant car, but in this case, the Dinky livery certainly makes it look so
The gold colour/silver trim suits it well. Thanks for your response, I'll check out the thread you mentioned.
