But can't totally give up. I still collect old toys. Please doctor, help me.

I've been buying a lot of guitar picks lately (and just started "playing" last week), so I know about having more than one hobby. Every time I think about giving up die-cast collecting, I realize its not going to happen...all I can do is focus on certain areas and divest myself of anything that doesn't fit in said areas. There are, after all, far worse things we could spend our money on!

Returning to topic, the Quiralu models are neat, and I'd not heard of them before today. I am always learning new things on this board!

If we are giving a nod to what else we collect, I have the largest private collection of audio, video and Hi-Fi equipment in the UK all from the same brand. I took the decision in the early 2000's to stop collecting because of the lack of room.

Italics added by me. Lack of room is something I know all about, too. I have seven boxes, plus a carrying case, full of die-cast and other miniature vehicles. Therefore, I decided to get rid of anything that isn't a vintage British piece, and focus on Yesteryears. At least guitar picks take up very little room!

What else we collect would be a good topic for the Lounge. I'll see if it already exists.

I have made it 'Sticky' so will always be in the top nine topics of the Lounge Index.
