Hello Ian, do you mean these articles...yes, I have this issue and I find it interesting the big 12th scale Bentley 'Blower' is now £100!! I've watched this kit go from less than £10 when it first came out, rise up to a staggering £60 only four or five years ago and now this new slightly modified version go for a 'Score' of course, I will still have to buy one, even at this price because if I don't, my collection will have a gap in it and so far I have tried to buy all versions and re-issues of this kit.

What are the differences?..I had this kit back in the early 80s and sold it built up for £40 when I was short of cash.....I have been bidding on some recently but they keep getting away which considering the crap way Ebay is going surprises me.....I will get one though...

Hello Ian, since the model was first introduced in 1971, it has been released on 6 catalogue numbers, has had about 6 different box artwork designs, it was made in England up to the early 1980's and made in France from then on, there are American market versions in another box design and the most recent version does have some specification changes with the most noticeable viewable from looking at the box artwork...it has been given a different registration number.

This is an overview of the various issues so far, it is one of the most successful kits made by 'AIRFIX' and designed by Peter Allen, formally a designer at 'SPOT-ON'.

'AIRFIX' even started to make a Silver Ghost tourer in the same scale to go with the Bentley, but was pulled from development due to costs.

Yes Ian, you should get yourself one of these big Bentley kits of EBay, it will be an enjoyable build for you.

That is a good price for that kit, OK, no glazing, but as you say it had flat windows so not a big problem making your own, pictures please when done... :D
