Whenever I log onto this site I am amazed and humbled by the names I see on here. Your most certainly being one of them. I am saddened by your news and hope you a speedy recovery.

Has anyone any word on Wolfie? I know his op was a week ago, and I haven't the faintest idea how long the recovery from that kind of surgery would be. Fingers crossed it's all going well.

He has not logged on since the 24th of April, nor on facebook.

'm home from hospital

I had quite a major operation on my face. Cancer is a bastard!! They removed my right eye and the area around it including some bone above and below it.

Once the wound has healed I will have to have radiotherapy every day for six weeks, If all goes well recovery will take six months, then I ill get a silicone patch with a false eye.

Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes - I will be well.

There are still some variations of Matchbox toys I need!!!
