#14c Bedford Lomas with Crimped Axles

Is it genuine or is it fake?

lots of evidence to show Lesney did colour trials for different paints and interior colours but never seen any evidence before that they did any rw size or gpw v bpw v spw trials. the Lomas was a model that 10mm bpw could have been uniquely created for and is dos seem that Lesney intended off white & cream 14c to have bpw with stark white having smaller common spw. the relatively htf gpw 14cs could simply be unplanned , made on days when they didnt want to stop the line just because they had run out of bpw

now you have had time to digest the responses of the experts on the forum about your Lomas, what are your thoughts?? I know that if i was you i would be very very happy to find this little anomaly in my collection. :D :D

Gee Im sorry MM about overlooking your post. :oops:
Just so u know that i had sent this Lomas to an early collector about 200kms away at the beginning of April and who knew Wolfie quite well to have it evaluated and the findings pointed towards it certainly being a factory trial and im chuffed.
When it returned,Dad gave it a nice once-over and now its shiny & bright. :D

This model is what I consider to be 'Mint' from this side Numi. It has not been played with, and has imperfections common to models right out of the Lesney factory. It is a real beauty! :o kwakers
