Yes Reg it was one of the first things i noticed so i had my son Dylan shining his torch on the rear parcel shelf area to light up those headlights....very impressive!!

Funnily enough i am a little over excited now and in deep need of a pre pro Javelin to provide a little calm. Time to call Doctor Ghosty to sort us both out!!!

Well I have to admit i was a little disappointed with the SCOTMODEL swapmeet last weekend, i felt there was very little to pick from this year so i was a little disappointed but I didn't leave empty handed and managed to get this lot for just under £7 in total!!

I have had better results with e bay this week with a nice Purple glazed SF#7 Hairy Hustler for £3 and a very rare clear glass version of the SF#68 Porsche for wait for it............£5!!!! :D :D :D :D :D and i was the only bidder :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: !!!!!!

Here's a comparison shot of a couple of examples of the many light amber glazed SF#68 i have bought over the years and the clear glass version I purchased .

The Porsche was a good find Alex, You did better than me, Bought a rare yesteryear on ebay and 2 minutes after the auction ended I realised it was not the rare one after all, damn.

Thanks Nick, i now have 2 clear window SF#68's in my collection, the problem is that over the past few years i have bought dozens of light amber versions, hoping that they were clear glass!! unsuccesfully......i have dozens of #68's!!!...........not that i am complaining!!! :D :D :D :D

We RW collectors have the same problem, I have dozens of 'silver' 53a Aston Martins that turned out to be sunfaded metallic green.

Plus a few "blue" 33a Ford Zodiacs, (which is a different story) :)
