For the sake of completeness, hammer prices were as follows:
76a £6,350.00
75a £3,049.99
78a £2,999.99
17c £2,500.00
12b £1,295.00
61a £1,199.99
28b £895.00

Personally, I think the 76a went cheap. I really expected a five-figure sum to be achieved. I also felt that the 78a Triumph, another piece of Lesney history, didn't fetch as much as it might have, possibly due to the fact that what makes it special cannot normally be seen.
I understand from Mal that none of the six models listed above went to Hardy, meaning that they are safe for future generations (unlike a certain glazed 23c).
