Thought I'd show off this little beauty, believe that it was a 56' Buick Special. My dad's car from way back when. Would love to own one of these today. The color and style are just outstanding!

Earlier I posted a photo of a '64 Ford Econoline van similar to one that was the family car for the first 13 years of my life. The other day I was thumbing through an old photo album and came across a rather humorous photo of me "driving" ours, circa 1965 or so when it was still new and shiny.

Unsafe at any speed, both the car and the driver.

p.s. You can see here that our van had a front child seat that sat between the driver and front passenger seats, mounted to the top of the engine box. When we were kids we always used to fight over who would get to sit there. Looking back, if we had had any idea how much of a "suicide seat" this thing was, we all would have opted to sit in back, lol.

This will be our old car later this year as it may cost to much to MOT..3 years with nothing more than a couple of second hand shocks is asking a bit even for the "MOST RELIABLE CAR IN THE WORLD"..Its been strange never braking down on a daily basis......And dont think its not been abused.
