Thank you Johnboy for posting the MG here. The wheels and solid windscreen tell me it is one of the models directly marketed by 'BLUE-BOX', but as usual it will probably be found with packaging from the likes of 'GORDY MITE'.

Here is a similar product, made from the harder type plastic and looking very familiar to collectors of a certain refuse truck. I don't have a specific brand name for this, but it is close in size to the original "Matchbox" version and one company who have previously been marketing commercial models based on the "Matchbox" range were 'GORDY MITE'.

I believe we have seen some of these elsewhere and they are clearly 'Inspired By' models instead of 'Direct Copies'. One of the interesting features of that particular model, is how close a match the paint colour is with the Lesney original, intentional or just lucky!
