I went to the meet at Falkirk today and it was pretty poor not much to be had. Thanfully I didn't come away empty handed and picked up these 4 Superfasts for 50p each.

Thanks Jason, It's another sunfade. I am building up a nice wee collection of Sunfade wildcats now, thats me got 4 at the last count!!! A very common sunfade and strangely one that i have seen buyers pay large sums of cash for on Ebay.

Hello Alex, I think we had a 'Sunfade' thread somewhere, probably in the 'Lounge', maybe you can have a picture of a good and Sunfaded 'Wildcat' picture in there! its always nice for reference purposes to see to what extent colours do fade

If you have already posted a picture like that, I do appologise for not looking for it before typing this here...

Ghosty.

Perhaps we should encourage everybody to post images of their sunfaded Matchbox models as it might make an interesting thread.

I will post a line up of mine when i get the chance as i know the others i have are in storage at my Dads house ( i have run out of room here).

I have a couple of mint badly sunfaded models that i wont sell, i like them anyway and they are useful to remember lessons of how paint fades

Arrived this morning.

A lovely SF#3 Monteverdi Hai with very dark blue glass (i have been looking for one of these dark blue glazed examples for a while), and a very HTF SF#44 Boss Mustang Cobra with extremely rare 5 spoke front wheels (usually maltese cross).

Here is a few comparison pics to see the difference between the dark blue and light blue glazing on the SF#3 Montiverdi Hai. The dark blue looks amazing IMHO
