The orange body SF#10 came with only chrome or grey base!!!.......not silver!!!!!

in the hall light admittedly not the best but better than NEC it looks silver like the back of a SF 37c it could be grey but it has a silvery sheen to it and not a dull look of the grey based ones
is this getting more confusing

I had to go up to the marina to pay the mooring fees and make sure the boat was still floating so I never got home until after dark, I'm in my bedroom under one of phillips wonderful new 20 watt bulbs so I can barely see anything, But the base still looks silver, and the curious thing is it looks like my pipe truck was originally red but was oversprayed with orange before assembly. I got my very near mint chrome base orange pipe truck out to compare it and I can't see anything of note except that one also looks like it was originally red and has been repainted orange. Can everyone check their orange sf10 pipe trucks, especially under the rear of the baseplate and in between the cab and bed and in the triangular voids between the mudguards. cheers

Nick even if it had a red body it should still have a chrome base.
