A new model ready for display.
The Rolls was covered with something that I could not identify.
Whlie trying to remove it the original paint went es well.
This is my favorite superfast model ever since I was a kid.

Yes I do and what a great colour match you have found for the body.

I found a way how to remove the old labels form the Ferrari.
The model was left in clear water for about two weeks.
Today I could easily remove the labels – clueing them on the new painted model should be no problem.

Hi,

finally I got a refreshment canteen.
What a lovely model - no I´m happy to have it.
Somehow I always thought the daimler bus should be easy to find but it is not that often to find here in Germany.
But now I got one two.
The Rolls is missing his trunk cover the Crash tender still has the lettering.
The one in the Background is a Siku ferrari berlinetta 275 gtb.
That one needs some fixing.

For cosmetic completeness, the boot for the Rolls-Royce could made from a piece of 'Plasticard' gently curved and glued in place.

Ghosty thanks for your suggestion.
Ther is even a sparepart avaiable from modelcarparts.
But there is a bit more damage on the model not only the missing bootlid.
This makes it not easy to restore - maybe Tinman could do it.
