Now there's a nice set of Mercs (do you mind us using that term as others use Rollers!), and I like your backdrop, that's a very good idea, think another forum member has done something similar.
Ghosthunter.

I'm okay with it, even though "Merc" in U.S. parlance refers to a Mercury.

Good point.
Rolls-Royce as a company always stipulated their cars are Rolls-Royce motor cars, not a Rolls or Roller, and you should always say...
I'll just fetch the Rolls-Royce.
Likewise you can not have Rolls-Royces, it has to be Rolls-Royce motor cars or Rolls-Royce cars.
When Henry Royce used to wonder around his beloved factory, the cars were referred to as Royces by the staff and the workers.

Henry Royce, if memory serves me correctly, was also a perfectionist in the extreme.

...and a workaholic, something that led to his ill health.

Seems we have a nice Mercedes convention here:
Mathias your packs are awesome and they include some rare models! I also like Johnboys trio and the convertible custom from Miller, nice idea.
I got this item a few weeks ago from a collectorfriend of kay and me.
It looks like an advertisement for the Matchbox Superfast range, maybe given to larger dealers or I don't really know.
It's in Din A5 size and deals with all the features Superfast cars got: opening parts, metallic paintfinish, tinted windows, low friction Wheels, "racing hubs" and realistic interiors.
The text also deals with the racing performance of Superfast cars on the Superfast Racing Tracks.
Seems very hard to find in German langnuage, I think there should be a similar piece in english, too.
Greetings,
Linus

Hi!
As promised some additions in march. I don't really like that dragster stuff, but some variations! I'am really happy about the Renault 17 tl with "Fire" labels!
Pie-eyed Piper with blue windows and Volksdragon with Lady Bug base.
Greetings,
Linus
Renault 17tl with 'fire' labels (from the Blaze Buster Fire Engine) made for the SF Rescue Gift set.
