I must have missed Nigel´s old post but then i do skim RW stuff when short of time! Please share his comments about his model and any base shots here so that everyone new can see
This is the info directly relating to the Silver-Grey 'Pre-Pro' #24.

Thankyou :geek: - I am amazed that I forgot seeing such a landmark toy. We know silver grey was Rolls official colour of choice for the Hotwheel Redline of 1970 too!

Decided I needed to add another cabinet to the Toy Room. Half the fun for me is building new display cases as I run out of room. You can see another one of the cases in the background. One day I will have to photograph the room.

Case is hung on the wall awaiting shelves

Putting in a few models - I hope to have this one filled by Christmas.

...Hmm, by Christmas, going by your usual performance, more likely by the end of the Month... :D

We have such talented collectors here what with building their own display units and from what I can see in the pictures, built to such high standards, certainly worthy of your models John, thank's for showing the latest addition.

What a nice display cabinet. The way I'd like to have. But the WAF has been reached so far ago.

I finally decided to take photo’s of my Dinky display cabinets after tidying my model room today. My collection is confined to a single back bedroom and whilst I have several cabinets and a set of architects drawers I am having to resort to some multi stacking until I can install some more shelves.

This makes my cabinets less attractive than some earlier contributions to this thread but I’m happy enough.

Very, very impressive Dave,

Love the set of architects/drafting cabinet drawers, a great way to protect and sort models.

In your other Dinky thread you mentioned you were waiting on a nice box for your 885 Saviem Pipe truck, did you end up getting that?

Thanks for posting these photos, excellent.

Regards
Bert

Hi Bert

Thanks for the comments.

Yes I did receive the better box, I'm trying to make the upper and lower inner packing pieces before I repost pictures. We have a 4 day week this week, so your question has prompted me to try and get them done on Friday. Keep an eye on the Dinky thread and the result turn up.

Cheers

Dave
