So much for having self governing rules and yes I am one of the bidders.

At this point with at least 3 Forum members being among the bidders involved, an OOPS and an apology may be in order. I thought it strange that I was commenting on a live auction here that was not a Buy It Now Tip as is the usual practice under this heading.......Sorry even for my comment on the dynamics and the cause. kwakers

I think there is a lurker here with very deep pockets who has now bid on this auction. He may or may not have seen it on here but whatever way you look at it you will now have to have deeper pockets.

I would like to have a moderator remove all our comments and posts about this sale immediately, I am very surprised this was not done last night with the group we have concerned with it! kwakers

Hello Guys, first of all I have to say a very big sorry for my comments on a live Auction and another big sorry if those comments hindered the forum members who were seriously interested in the items and maybe were bidding on them.

The one model that caught my attention just set my heart racing and I was compelled to concentrate on it. I wanted to bring that model to the attention of forum members quickly and without thinking, I quickly posted a link, then something felt wrong, and new I had done something wrong here but was not sure, I could not remember what we can or can not post here regards Ebay type auctions, "Kwakers" was quick to comment on the items via the link while it was still on the thread, "Fixer" had also seen the items and sent me a 'PM' about the posting, so after that I pulled the link and just left a modified comment from myself.

So, in my attempt to bring an important model to the attention of forum members, I screwed up big time, and again my friends, I am very sorry for the way I did this, but in relation to the model in question, I do hope a form member has or will secure it.

GHOSTHUNTER.

I think it's now way too late for that.

We have discussed it several times and (regrettably in my opinion) the decision/consensus was that we would rely on a gentlemen's agreement rather than a hard-and-fast rule. I hope that everyone understand that this makes it very difficult for Admin.s and Moderators to delete such posts since no Forum rule has been broken (although if I were the first to stumble across such a post, I would delete it and then PM the author).

TBH I don't think it would have gone unnoticed by any serious collectors these models stand out so much if you know what your looking at
I had seen it the night before and knew it would go way past my limits
the link was removed within a few minuets of my pm to Ghosty ,yes a cock up was made but I think the price would run up anyway ,
good luck to anyone who can afford and wants it bad enough

ps
I told you that you would be in trouble Kev

I didn't see Ghosty's link, it must have gone by this morning, but I'd already had this lot in my watch list for quite a while. I was planning to bid, but deeper pockets than mine will be needed. The watch count hasn't changed much recently and I agree with Reg that with good photos and a correct listing like this, it's always going to do well. That said, live listings are a no-no unless there's an issue of authenticity or something similar as far as I understand.
