While the auction was still on, I sent a message to Vectis and asked them for provenance.

Their reply was that there is no provenance but it is all original.

This reply for me was insufficient, and I didn't place bids on this one.

I hope that it is indeed genuine - for the benefit of the winning bidder who forked out £2500!

Hi all

Some people just have all the luck in finding rare models......our friend Mr Jonkers (aka lesney12345 on Ebay) has yet another SF 8 wheel crane in red with an orange boom along with sevaral RW models with rare wheels.

He sold one in November and now has another one..... Could just be a coincidence......again.... :?
