I had a Corolla and it was a brilliant car till ALL the brake pipes decided to rust away at once...It was when I got my first Datsun that I noticed that most of the drivers of old Toyotas and Nissans, were old geezers with a strange smug smile on there faces.I put this down to owning a car that no one would steal and cost nothing to run plus an engine that good they ran on fresh air.Yes you can keep your Ferraris and your Maseratis....I explain this to my kids and they look at me like I'm nuts...But just keep your eye open and you will see and ask yourself one question-Whos knows whats what in the car world?.....Old fellas who had beat up Dinky when they where kids and keep them going for the next generations to come........Not like they will want them though..

Oh The Lada..So good they took them back.....Funnily I never worked on a rusty one.....Our local Taxi firm owned 4 and I was the lucky one who took off all the bonnets and boots and sprayed them yellow....They where not a good car or taxi but where very cheap and once the initial parts fell off very tough little cars... :) :)
