There weren’t many bids - I suppose the hole in the roof put people off. I wonder why it was drilled? It’s the second roof, with pips but no ejector rings. The tow hitch is missing and it would be easy to pull the base off, but I’m sure it’s original and not a repaint.

Hole did not put me off Glen, I just forgot to bid. My memory is getting terrible.

It's been a while since I bought anything. Prices still seem very high, even for relatively common models in poor condition. So I was pleased to find this Mustang.

It's not perfect, but there aren't too many of these around in any condition. I still find it strange that a few regular wheeled Mustangs got the orange-red paint, while more of the Superfast version were painted white.

Totally agree and would put the Mustang at the top of the 'All Time Most Liked Matchbox Model' listing.
