All temperature records in The Netherlands have been broken today, the 25th of July 2019.
The hottest temperature officially measured by the Dutch weather insitute was 40,7 degrees Celsius!!!
The first time ever, ever, ever that it has been over 40 degrees Celsius in our tiny country.
Where I live (Venlo, province of Limburg) it was 40,2 degrees Celsius at 17:00 hours.
You can find it on the right of the Dutch map, the 3rd temperature from below, where "Arcen" is written (15 km above Venlo).
Yesterday 39,7 degrees C in the afternoon, last night at 02:00 hours still 24 degrees C... pfffff, it ain't half hot mum!
Hopefully tomorrow the last day this extremely hot weather... but still expected 39C...
