Thanks, the smooth finish looks fabulous. So at the bottom was it supposed to have something attached to enable the function as a bracelet charm or a tie-pin?
Bracelet charms are more likely to have a small metal ring at the rear of the car for attatching to the main bracelet chain. You will have noticed it is on the roof of my ''FAB 1'' model. Tie-pins tend to have a spike cast to the bottom of the car which when passed through the material is hled in place with a metal clasp or clip.

If yours has no evidence of either of those fittings it is impossible to say what or why it was made. Two other slightly less plausible reasons for it's existance...

1, It may be from a board game similar to Monopoly.
2, It may be a from an Architecture's town planning set of vehicles, but these are usually made of resin, not plated.

I've got a Silver Wraith in similar size but and wonder what it's background was...

There's usually an online version at the Collectors Club Great Britain site.
I don't know how it compares to the printed article

thats so awesome for you Kev.,..congrats!
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.
