If it’s one of my own I played with painted smashed welded as a kid I leave it alone
If it’s something I found it depends on how it looks..... same as with the real cars :lol:

Don't you find with real cars a new owner is prepared to pay good money for a well restored example but with models a collector is more likely to source an original model over a restored model!

I agree.That why I try and make my restorations have a bit of code 3 thrown in.

I’m most asked to do colour changes where they want a model they found to be the same colour as one they had as a kid or copy of the family car.
