Kevin,
the chrome versions are generally more common than the colored ones - from what I have seen at the toy shows, the most common one is the chrome version of the Mercedes 300 ("Adenauer"), probably followed by the Jaguar XK 120 (chrome).

Totally agree with you on the order, this is the same in the UK, Mercedes first then the Jaguar. The Opel and Buick are quite hard to find, in fact I don't recall ever seeing a Buick 'In Hand' at any toy fairs, only in books and now of course the internet.
I have seen even less of the coloured versions but I know the basic colours were used such as Red, Green, Blue and Yellow. There is also an occassional Two-Tone issue with the roof in a different colour.

Currently at work but will follow this up tonight when I get home - the Kemlows book is one of a few I DON'T have a second copy of at work!

Well as you can see things got on top of me and I haven't been on the forums for nearly TWO WEEKS!
Checked my Kemlows book and the photo of the K54 Car ramps in counter box look to be the same design as shown in the earlier photo shown by Dave and they came in at least light and dark blue, yellow and orange. Note the K54 ramp is described as "Matchbox size" and the K69 car ramp is described as "Suitable for Dinky Toys". There is no photo of the K69 ramp which came in a vermilion colour - if there is patent number on the larger ramp it ISN'T the K69 and is probably a DCMT or Crescent ramp....
Summary: Dave's ramp is most likely to be the Kemlow's K69 Car Ramp issued in 1964 and sold for 2/6 (two shillings and six pence). Production numbers not given but noted as SCARCE IN BOX.

Thank you Ian for the extra bit of research on the car ramps.

Thanks Ian
I think it s the K69 suitable for RW size, it will fit a Dinky Austin Mini but not really anything bigger.
I'll do some research too now I know.
Cheers

If its RW size then it might be the K54 - I'm certain I have examples of both but my place is such a mess at the moment I've no idea where they might be - I'll keep an eye open as I sort things out and give you measurements once I find them... but don't hold your breath!
