Hey everyone all I can say is wow this created quite the conversation.A lot of questions have been raised so let me answer. I got a kick out of some of the responses. Let me just say I'm about 250 5 foot 11 in fairly good shape so you might have a hard time fighting for my Cresta :D . I've been collecting off and on since 2000. I had to sell part of the collection at times for financial reasons. But my love for the hobby has made me search out the nicest examples of the models in my collection. In the 16 years I've been collecting I have owned three Thunderbirds or thunder chickens that was funny. It is really hard to find a truly mint example.Especially with the fins being so vulnerable to chips. I currently have three examples GPW SPW AND BPW all three are as close to mint as you can get and we may still have a microchip here and there. When I search out boxes I generally look for ones without creases and complete. I've been fairly lucky but I only purchased from dealers who are One dependable and two are known to sell authentic models and boxes. I truly love old cars and this hobby is kept me lets say out of trouble for many years.Thank you for the comments I have more models to post and I will soon as time permits. I currently have close to 400 mint or mint and boxed models. Mostly regs some dinky corgi and other brands.

There are chances - don´t feel to secure, Bill :D

An elephant went every day the same path along the river to drink and always ran over an ants hill . Every day the ants rebuilded it, but one day the got fed up. They sticked their heads togehter and made a battle plan.

They crawled on the surrounding trees and when the elephant came back the path the other day, they bravely throwed themselves on the elephant. The elephant shakes and all ants fall down. Only one remains in a neck fold. All the others, who had fallen down, screamed : "Go Johnny, strangle him, strangle him!" :D
