The Silver Cloud is so puzzling. when we saw the 'Paul Carr' version it was dismissed as possibly not genuine, why would there be old 60's regular wheels fitted to a mid-80's model, apart from being cosmetically more pleasing!

Do you have any valuable background information about your example you could share with us.

it is interesting , it does it put a different view on Mr Carr's is it a prepro or a copy of one ??

WOW! that is a stunning display, thought they were empty boxes, nothing more exciting than that, clearly I was wrong!

That's a fantastic collection. I have a number of counter display boxes from the 70's and early 80's but I like your later ones as I've never seen them.
Like now, we are lucky to get the models let alone the display boxes!!!
What else do you have? Some look to be out of the picture.
Please show us some more boxes.

Cheers, Steve

That's a cracking display of displays! The wooden counter display is one of the hardest to find in any condition.

Hello Ritchie,

A very colourful and crisp display, wonderful. I love the three early regular wheel displays. Quite interesting how USA and UK marketed these displays or sets differently.
From the older to the new in the left hand corner is there any chance of some more detail and close up photo of the BMW set please as to when and where these were issued.

Thanks
Bert

Hi Steve,
I think that's about all that I have. The floor stand at the rightmost was actually from the blue brand and I just put a Matchbox sign on top.

Thanks,
Ritchie

Thanks! And about the wooden counter display, I found that it's different from the leaflet that Steve showed in another thread. Mine has only 12 compartments, missing the 2 larger compartments at bottom for putting Accessory Packs. It looked original though.
