Further to an earlier post back on page 1 about bonnet mascot size on the early beige interior versions, now have found one with the larger mascot on the early version. Also a slightly different shade of Blue compared to a later blue interior version.

Came from the same collection as the VW bus.

Interesting variation but I expect because the mascot is part of the bonnet casting, it is possible high and low mascots could appear on all issues of this model.

Superb examples there, welcome in any Lone Star collection.

Kev, thanks, its a cracking model.

I should of added this picture, but its not the height that I'm referring too, but in its use to either stop the bonnet being pushed too low or to aid in lifting the bonnet up.
I may be wrong and it might just be a tooling/casting issue, but I don't think so.
The early small mascot bonnet I've only ever seen on beige interior ones, and up until this one had ever seen the larger mascot on the other colour interior versions, never on beige ones.

It does mean the beige seats just made it into the later casting making your example a great 'Transition' model.

It would have been better if my terminology for the mascots reflected yours...Small and Large, not high or low.

A nice win this gold imperial
Looks to be a later issue in a brighter more golden shade than any flyers I have
Never seen any gold impys before so don't know what to think
Not worried about the rivet poorly/miss spun is quite common
