I was the under bidder on the yellow Gt40 David (Vetrad) sold at Vectis last year. I still have nightmares about it as my budget was blown by that point and it was the last penny I had to spend but someone beat me too it, and got a bargain imho!

My one shown above was not in as good condition as Davids one but still made about the same money, as you say Alex someone got a real bargain there.

They are so scarce that they will likely only come up when collections are sold, but you never know Alex, keep looking and you may just strike lucky mate.

Not sure how i missed Bobs post.bobneumann wrote:I know of a collector in Elmhurst Illinois that has the Emerald Green Ford Group 6 and a collector in Palos Hills, Illinois who has the yellow Ford GT.
An entire collection was purchased by the second person to get the Ford GT and a crane with orange boom.

Just for the record, I am pretty sure the crane with orange boom mentioned in Bob's post is the red Superfast 30c, not the tan regular wheel 30b.numi wrote:Not sure how i missed Bobs post.bobneumann wrote:I know of a collector in Elmhurst Illinois that has the Emerald Green Ford Group 6 and a collector in Palos Hills, Illinois who has the yellow Ford GT.
