Thank you Fred for the pictures and questions.

In answer to your 1st question, Yes.
In answer to your 2nd question, yes and yes.

I don't want to talk too much about the 'POLITOYS' convertible here, this is the 'POLISTIL' thread and it will help with the confusion if both models are together in the same thread, I want to keep them apart.

I have had to look at an old listing of my Corgi Silver Shadows from June/July 2000, and there are 26 versions on it, I may have brought a few more since then.

Just a note about taking the Two models apart in the picture posted by "Fred7A". Do not mix up the parts, the engine detail is different between them and the mascot is different.

Thanks for your reply, Ghosthunter. Good advice regarding the need to avoid mixing up parts between the different versions. I expect I am still in disgrace after putting the wrong radiator grille on my Burago Camargue. My 1970s Dinky 152 Phantom V has the wrong interior because I wanted passengers in the back, so I retrieved an early interior from a scrap toy. I now have an early version with wing mirrors and passengers, but when I went to swap the original seats back into my later issue I've been completely unable to find them... I really need to go and stand in the corner. :(

26 Corgi Silver Shadows, that's impressive! I thought I was being greedy with 7.
