It's just come to me that maybe some forum members would like to see one of my own transformations. The pictures below show a 'Yesteryear' Y-6 Rolls-Royce 'Fire Engine' converted into a different 'Fire Engine' or more appropiately a 'Fire Tender'.

As a 'Yesteryear' model, it was not made to 1/43 rd scale, but after the conversion, it is now 1/43rd scale and the Rolls-Royce part is based on the 20-25 H.P. chassis.

Thanks Alex, the base model was a French 'ELIGOR' with the rear section, ladder and supports coming from the 'Yesteryear', oh! and the Bell hanging between the headlamps (blast, you can't see that in the picture!), and I made the windscreen hinged so it can be open or closed!!

Hi,

the short version of the 12 c Land Rover is completed.
I think i will paint it again in another color but i couldn´t find the one I had before on the second picture.

Kevin, the Rolls Fire-Engine looks good.
Your painting skills are obviously better then mine.

Thank you Stephan for the compliment on the 'Fire Engine'. Not really better painting skills, just did not photograph it too close, so you can not see the faults...

Your SWB Landy is just superb, it looks so right and something Lesney would have been proud of, nice transformation, so we will let you off, of not using any of our earlier suggestions, OK!

Kevin, love the fire engine conversion, really sharp!

Stephan, really a great cut & shut on the Land Rover!
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
