I am all for this, maybe Nick can come forward and let us know how he stands on this and weather this sort of free advertising is in the forum's constitution.

Hi all,

I have a table at the toy show, so I would be able to hand out flyers or anything else to promote the site.
Certainly I always tell the collectors about the VBD site - and promotion is taken with open arms!
Every year we have new collectors coming to the event, so there are still more collectors to be educated and converted.....

Ghosty,

as the Gathering is no longer an MCCH event, there is no more risk of getting banned for nabbing!

Here is a little flyer I've just knocked-up, it is just an idea and any other ideas from forum members are welcome.

I would like to add that I don't want to give the idea of favouritism towards just this forum, I know Kay is a 'Supermod' on Mick Flack's 'Moyboyz' forum and several members here are also registered members there. If Kay wants to have some flyers promoting one forum, then by all means he should have flyers for the other forum and the one I have shown above can easily be changed and addapted to include both forums, that's fine by me and I will let Kay do the Honours if he wants to.

That flyer already looks pretty good, Ghosty!
Mick is a member here too, and I would prefer to let him do the wordings for the MOYBOYZ forum if he would want to join this action.
The flyer can be printed two-sided, like the flyer card for the MECA meeting (size is a handy A6, which is roughly 4" x 6")- so it's actually no problem to have two forums mentioned.

We have a little copy shop in town, so it should not be a big deal to let them do the job for not too much money!
I just need the final layouts, and I would let them print the cards.....

Yep, I'll go along with those suggestions Kay, but we must have Nick's say so on this, so wait until he comes on and gives us his views, but otherwise, we are good for GO!

Between Jim Gallegos, Bill Burgess, Kay and me we've got four people who are pretty regular participants here on our beloved Vintage British Diecast Forum who also show up pretty much every year at the Albuquerque Gathering. I would think any of us would be happy to help promote the forum. The cards that you guys are considering could possibly be distributed with the papers handed out at registration.
