Those seem to tally with Houghton.
Please remember that since, on genuine examples, the black poles and clip were painted separately from the body, a genuine black-poled example will have a black-painted rivet in the roof. If a model has had the poles painted black after leaving the factory, the rivet will be red (having been attached to the body prior to spray painting).

I think the way forward with this is to establish which of Nick's codes exist in members collections, taking note of whether the bases are either matt or gloss black. If red/dark red can also be determined, so much the better.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread so far.
I need to know if anyone has any of the following variations.

gmw black poles, cross hatched roof.
gmw red poles, cross hatched roof.
spw, smooth roof

Once I know if these exist or not I will be able to update the page. So far it looks like neither of the metal wheel versions with cross hatched roof exist. I believe Antonin may have the spw smooth roof but he is currently touring South America (and completely failed to take his collection with him).

Also I need to know from Arthurfonz, Your black wheeled dark red trolley, does it have the lighter cross hatching or the heavy cross hatching?.
Thanks in advance

Hi Nick
I am back in Europe now (sorry that I have not my collection with me, but I do not have a suitable suitcase to put in) :D . I have only a variation with cross hatched roof and SPW in my collection. I have just supposed in my table the existence of the variation with SPW and smooth roof. It would be nice if someone could confirm it.
Antonin
