The Iso Grifos have been altered by black marker i suspect. Please note the Lotus Super Seven next to them which has clearly had the black marker treatment!!!

How can any of the new mass produced mattel stuff be rare (except the one-off double deck busses they make for each of the ambassadors)?

Hello Mike, please can you tell us about the Blue and Yellow Dodge Wreck Truck, who painted it and is the 'AMBER' roof beacon original or a modern replacement ???
Greetings from the U.K.

Hi all,
hello Mike,
sorry, I'am a bit late.
This double decker looks nice in gold, but it looks more expensiv as it really is (Johnboy metioned already).
Mattel released this one in red, oliv green and (dark)blue..maybe some more colours.
How can any of the new mass produced mattel stuff be rare (except the one-off double deck busses they make for each of the ambassadors)?
I think you are right with that, Tinman. I don't know if I should call the following bus "rare" or "hard to find"..I think Mattel themselves calls this a tresure hunt model.
I'am talking about the metallic red version (beside the normal red) for the 60th anniversary of matchbox.
I got this in a large supermarkt for the regular price, so I took it home. Normally, I'am not a big fan of those Mattel made stuff.
The gold double decker on short card I bought in Denmark some years ago.
Nice RW pair Mike. I think the seller said that the red Fiat is just partly restored...so if someone is interested
Light blue is very often used for the body of the #13 wrecker, when making a code 3, isn't it?
Happy collecting,
Linus
