I was also at Sandown on launch Day for the 'SPOT-ON' book and a highlight for me was being allowed to handle the Spot-On POLICE box from the large display in reception.

Collecting POLICE box and TARDIS models is just as difficult as collecting cars, there are always the odd few you want for your collection and two POLICE box models I don't have are by 'JOHILLCO' and 'SPOT-ON' and seeing the latter on display, I just had to ask the gentleman (sorry, I forgot his name now), looking after the display if I could have a closer look and he obliged, I was over the Moon!!

It is another 'Holy Grail' model waiting to be added to my non Rolls-Royce collection.

I bought a signed copy of the "The ultimate Book of Spot-On" from Brian Salter. A magnificent reference guide that takes pride of place in my reference library!!

I can sign one for you Alex, no need to wait for Nick to sign one. I've signed all my books myself, much easier and quicker...

Most of my Spot Ons live in this cabinet. Some of the pedestrians are displaying a total lack of traffic awareness and are in danger of being run over! Mind you, the drivers are probably too confused by the different direction signs to be going anywhere. :D The Rover 3 Litre is a modern Norev, complete with working lights, but I don't have an original to compare it with.

Nice sound collection Fred, I also like your 'MAGICAR' Rolls-Royce and Bentley on top left shelf, surprising how many 'SPOT-ON' collectors now include these in their collections, once upon a time these models were like Hen's teeth to try and collect!
