I would argue that the metallic green #45 with thin wheels is rarer than the flat green version. IMHO!! :D :D

Here is a rather nice #45 Beemer which Hugh (Idris) has confirmed to be a know pre-production variation.

The wheel hubs were originally foiled and have lost that over the years. Other than the lack of a hole in the roof for the light dome i have not noticed any other obvious casting differnces.

Very nice model and a great addition, wondered who won that one.
My favourite is this one I got from Tim, one of my best error models.
