Having bought two beater 41C Ford GT models, one narrow- and one wide SF wheels, (both to be restored/repainted and converted to RW) here some casting differences:
left: wide wheels, right: narrow wheels.
left: narrow wheels, right: wide wheels.
Top: wide wheels, bottom: narrow wheels.
Top: wide wheels, bottom narrow wheels.
Left: narrow wheels, right: wide wheels

Gerrit, thank's for posting the above pictures. Castings seen this way can be very helpful in understanding a model's 'Time-Line', but we rarely get a chance to have models presented in this way, only one other member (I have shown the insides of Two 24c models previously), has gone to the trouble of taking models apart to show us casting braces etc.

I don't suggest you go round taking all your models to bits, but if you do have occasion to take pictures of more during your custom/repaint projects then please do post the pictures to the forum, thank's.
