For me the fun is in the hunt, If I had kept all the toys that had gone through my hands over the years I would have thousands of them but be living on the street lol
I still have close to a thousand models. I have started listing my Benbros on ebay.
I have been offered £400 for a complete mint and boxed set of 20 x Esso petrol pump series made by Morestone and Rodney Smith (of Lesney fame) which works out at £20 each. They are all mint and boxed except no 17 the blue 100e van (like the 59a singer by lesney) which is only c8-c9 and boxed (but it is extremely hard to find in any condition), would anyone be interested in bettering the offer? the whole collection can be seen here http://www.vintagebritishdiecasts.co.uk/morris.htm
I also have 48 boxed Charbens old crocks, I have 26 of the 28 road going models that were available plus quite a few doubles but none of the military models,
see http://www.vintagebritishdiecasts.co.uk ... harben.htm If anyone is interested in purchasing either collection please email or pm me.
