I tend to agree with you Alex, but I have handled models in the past, that at the time, I could not get a picture of it due to not having a Camera, especially if it was seen in a location you would not expect to see it and models were around long before we had mobiles with cameras built-in.
Many years ago, a gift shop on the East coast (Gt Yarmouth as it happens), had some pewter finish models in their window display, including a Rolls and Bentley but the shop was closed and without a camera amongst us, I was a bit annoyed to say the least, I could not go back to the shop hoping it was open, as we were not staying there long enough and sadly I still don't have those two models in my collection, but can remember them well enough to describe them.
To give Robert Newson credit, he has in the past been very reliable with his model information and findings, however, that does not mean he is right all of the time, none of us are perfect.
