Hi Sven,
The base of the Berlin K15 I have shows 'Matchbox' Superfast Made in England @ 1972 Lesney Products & CoLtd Pat No. 1238927, can try and send you a picture if you like. I do not know if there are any variations on this base, maybe other members of this group could answer this.

great collection of busses you have, it would be very nice to see this as a lineup.
I have another question, is the "Berlin" Bus a Lesney product?
I've just begun to collect busses.

Ups, sorry Marcel, I didn't see the any photos in this thread. Now I reopened this and
I can see the complete lineup. May be an error with my explorer or an error by myself.
But my question again: Does the Berlin Bus have a Lesney base or a Macao base?
I've seen some Berlin Busses on eBay and I would buy one, if it had a Lesney base.
Sven
It has a made in England base. The base can be seen in 1 of the photos in this posting.

Hope this helps. It is a very nice casting.

Yes, I remember this being mentioned in U.K. Matchbox.

Thanks Marcel, Dave and Charlie for the additional informations and fotos.
Yes interesting, doors on the right and driver on the left (because Berlin is left hand driven) :D

Thanks Charlie.
I only have one so will check which one and start a search for the other one !

and.... found one.
Prooved that I had variation 1. I checked eBay and both variations were on sale in about the same quantities.
So found now issue 2 with simpler doors.

Any more variations you know off Charlie ?

Hi Marcel,
The only variations I have found of this particular London Bus are:
1. Base variations (with or without K15 The Londoner).
2. Side doors (with or without cast line).
3. Side labels "Berlin ist Reise wert" (centered or off center to the right).
