Hopefully the plastic boxes dont give off chemical fumes that could matt your paintwork and wheel chrome as well as discolour boxes - the more flexible the plastic the more fumes likely to be given off. It is possible to use window insulating strips to make these cabinet doors air tight to keep dust out and then you will be able to see everything crystal clear..........
